That’s an interesting idea. I’ve been approaching it from a similar angle because I am really intrigued by Medium’s payment mechanism and how that can be leveraged.

One thing I’ve been playing around with is the idea of granting partial ownership of my articles. What if someone offered you $25 plus 50% of the earnings?

Trying to figure it out as a way to help writers earn more, especially beginning writers who are just starting. If you need an extra source of income, you might be willing to write for a small upfront payment and only partial ownership of the article’s earnings.
